VIDEO: Behind The Scenes With The Roundrock Technology Crew At Tryon International Equestrian Center
The 2018 World Equestrian Games wrapped up this past week at Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Springs, NC. In addition to building a new core network for the center and a temporary network for the games, Roundrock Technology also provided connectivity to the World Equine Expo Vendor Village.
Great customer service is something we pride ourselves on here at Roundrock Technology, and we are always striving to take that to the next level. Due to the large footprint of the vendor area, we developed a plan to streamline the process of ordering and supporting connectivity at each individual location.
First, we built a new, custom online portal where vendors and sponsors could easily order temporary internet and Wi-Fi for their booth. Then, upon arrival at the games, each vendor received an authentication card (also designed by our team) with their login credentials. And finally, we had a dedicated tech assigned to the village to make sure everyone was connected and provide support when needed.
“We could not have done WEG without TOURtech/Roundrock Technology! The professionalism and responsiveness of your team was amazing.” -Allison Troyan- Chagrin Saddlery / World Equestrian Center Mobile Manager
“I’d like to let you know that your operation was the best thing about WEG. Your folks were professional and courteous, and made my whole experience with the Wi-Fi easy (as I’m not very technical).” -Theresa McManus -DP Saddlery
“I want to tell you that your company is great. I have never had a Wi-Fi company or any company supplying services check on our Wi-Fi or requests so often. The few slow connections we had got solved quickly and your personnel were very helpful and knowledgeable. If there is anywhere I can leave you a great acknowledgement of service tell me where.” -Jeanne Ravan & Ronald Ravan – Ronald Ravan Designs
